Winter 1999, Batavia, IL

Thanks once again to the administrators of Batavia School District #101 of Batavia, Illinois for allowing us to particpate in their McWayne After School Enrichment Program during the Winter semester of 1999 (note: Project Pro and I Can Read! are not affiliated with the Batavia School District). During that semester we enrolled 21 students, 19 of whom completed the course. Entrance tests were administered on Wednesday September 9. Exit tests were administered on Thursday April 29 and Monday May 3. Here's what happened:

This semester we've begun a new policy of administering multiple tests at different levels to those students for whom multiple tests are appropriate. We are doing this to attain greater reliability and a larger sample space. Test results can be summarized as follows:
