Part Time After-School Job Openings for Teachers

We operate a summer and after-school reading program for elementary and middle school students in the Chicago metro area, ranging from the near west to far west suburbs. We operate year round, and we expect to double in size every year for the next several years. We’d like to talk to you if you have the following qualifications:

1. You would enjoy teaching a phonics-based reading course.

2. You have experience using Direct Instruction, including specific experience with one of the following DI phonics programs or a similar program:

• SRA Reading Mastery (we are using this)
• SRA Corrective Reading (we are also using this)
• Any SRA DISTAR program
• Saxon Phonics

3. You have excellent classroom discipline and management skills.
